China's SMEs are more troubled

The China All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce surveyed small and medium-sized enterprises in 16 provinces including Guangdong, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu provinces, showing that the operating conditions of small and medium-sized enterprises in mainland China, especially small and micro enterprises, may be more difficult than in the financial tsunami in 2008.

Hong Kong Wen Wei Po reported that the report shows that mainland SMEs have been trapped in operational difficulties because of their difficulties in fighting corruption, high tax burdens and increasing production costs. The survey report will be sent to the mainland China State Council.

In addition, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China requested the competent provincial and district authorities in early May to carry out a survey on the situation of SMEs. Prior to the 15th, the investigation report was sent to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

Statistics from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology show that in the first two months of this year, the loss of SMEs above the scale of the mainland reached 15.8%, 0.3% higher than the same period of last year, and the growth rate of losses was as high as 22.3%. This is only the business status of the above-scale enterprises.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said that under the scale of small-scale enterprises, the loss situation may be more serious.
