Guangxi Rongshui County Bamboo and Wood Processing Industry Introduces Four New Deal

On the same day, Rongshui introduced four tax collection and management systems, such as the implementation of inspection methods for timber on-site inspections and the taxation management methods for the bamboo and wood processing industries, to further standardize the taxation management of the wood processing industry. This is another new policy for the county to vigorously carry out economic development and upgrade activities and implement economic work.

There are abundant bamboo resources in terms of melting water, with high quality and high yield of fir, 16 million cubic meters of wood volume, 350,000 cubic meters of commodity timber, 25,000 hectares of bamboo, and 11.76 million annual quotas of bamboo. However, most of the towns and towns where the county produces and manages bamboo are inconvenient in terms of transportation, taxation management is difficult, enforcement costs are high, and the collection and management power is weak.

The four new policies introduced at the same time include the Implementation Measures for the Implementation of Timber Inspection in the Field, the Supplementary Provisions on the Interim Measures for the Management of Bamboo and Wood, the Measures for the Earnings of Township (Town) Tax Inspection and Enforcement, and the Measures for the Administration of the Taxation of the Bamboo and Wood Processing Industry. Basically, we can supervise a series of tax issues such as timber cutting and management from the source, establish and improve the fair competition in the bamboo industry, standardize the market order of operations, mobilize the work enthusiasm of law enforcement personnel and improve the service level, and pass strict and rewarding and punishment. With the cooperation of departments, the collection of taxes and fees will be strengthened to maximize the benefits of forestry, and a long-term mechanism for safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of the state and forest farmers and operators will be gradually formed.

Since the beginning of this year, the county has highlighted the improvement of economic development and transformed the mode of economic development.

Through platforms such as parks, bases, and projects, we will introduce a number of projects with a high level of scale and technical processing, continue to implement preferential policies in finance, land, etc., and vigorously support bamboo and wood processing enterprises. At present, the construction of the Kangtian Bamboo Industrial Park with a planned investment of 700 million yuan is progressing in an orderly manner. The Provisional Measures for the Investment Promotion of Bamboo and Wood Processing Enterprises in the Kangtian Bamboo and Wood Industrial Park have been promulgated. More than 45 million yuan have been invested to complete 700 acres of land for “three links and one leveling”. 26 large and medium-sized enterprises reached the intention of entering the park. The county is striving to realize the transformation of forestry counties into strong forestry counties.
