Louis Vuitton spent 200 million yuan to open the largest LV flagship store in Asia (except Japan) in Hong Kong and unveiled it at the end of 2005. LV Chairman and CEO Yves Carcelle emphasized that China is the third largest market for the brand in the world and Hong Kong is an important location.

LV had entered the Landmark Plaza in Central as early as 1982, until the expansion project in 1998, becoming the first flagship store of the brand in Hong Kong. Earlier this year, the store was again expanded on a large scale. The new store is the fourth “Louis Vuitton Building” in the world following the Champs-Elysees in Paris, Tokyo and New York. The new store building is a three-storey building with a total area of 1,643 square meters. It is mainly divided into 3 departments: men's wear department, women's wear department and leather goods accessories. The jewelry department is set on the ground floor and the first floor, and the first brand of VIP in Hong Kong is set up on the first floor. room. At present, LV has a total of 6 stores in Hong Kong, Peninsula Hotel stores are also expanding, will be completed in January this year.

The most representative design of the Louis Vuitton building debuted the imposing giant transparent glass facade. In addition, the wall was designed by famous Japanese architect Jun Aoki. The giant glass curtain wall is 12 meters high, 40 meters long (in the direction of Pedder Street) and 16 meters (in the direction of Des Voeux Road). It is the largest exterior wall design for brand-name shops in Hong Kong. . Behind the glass curtain wall is installed 7000 aluminum "vertical blinds" decorated with aluminum-coated glass to create a unique and looming effect. The liquid silver strips inside the outer glass material are subtly composed of the brand's classic Damier lattice pattern.

The interior design of the store was designed by the famous American architect Peter Marino. The most eye-catching designs debuted two LED staircases and aluminum suspended staircases. The center of the shop adopts a LED screen glass staircase, which connects the ground floor, the ground floor and the first floor. The screen continuously plays specially designed images to form colorful patterns. Another steel spiral staircase, which runs through the underground and first-floor jewellery departments, adopts a suspended suspended design that blends in with the surrounding vertical aluminum blinds. It feels like it is floating in the air.

According to reports, LV's turnover is growing at a double-digit rate every year, especially in mainland China. Ever since opening its first store in Beijing in 1992, the annual growth rate has never been lower than 50%. YvesCarcelle expects to maintain this growth rate in the future, while also maintaining the goal of adding 2 to 3 stores per year in the Mainland.

Nowadays, there are LV stores in the world with a total of 314 stores. Each year it spends about 200 million euros to create 15 additional stores and do renovation projects. In 2006, LV will land several countries that have not been "developed", including Hungary, Ukraine and Norway.
