DuPont introduces fiber-reinforced 3D printed filaments

Two new grades are:

●Zytel 3D12G30FL BK309 is a black, heat-stable 30% glass fiber reinforced polyamide with a modulus of 4-5GPa and a heat distortion temperature of >150°C. It is resistant to most solvents, detergents, and at room temperature. Automotive liquids and fuels.

●Zytel 3D10C20FL BK544 is a black, 20% carbon fiber reinforced polyamide suitable for lightweight parts with a modulus of 4-5GPa and a heat distortion temperature of >150°C. It is resistant to most solvents and detergents at room temperature. , automotive liquids and fuels.

Both products are on display at Formnext 2018 in Frankfurt, Germany. To demonstrate the quality of the materials, DuPont's partner, RepRap's X400 and X500 3D printers, were printed on-site.
